Award-winning design historian Regina Lee Blaszczyk will share research from her new book, The Color Revolution, to show how the Delaware Valley’s chemical industry collaborated with designers to create the chic modern style recently revived by TV shows like Mad Men and Pan Am. A book signing will follow.

This event is presented as part of DesignPhiladelphia, a citywide cultural initiative that showcases the role that design has played historically in Philadelphia and celebrates the city’s contemporary significance as a center for creative advancement.
