An acerbic critic and broadcaster with a passion for literature and art, Jacobson explores human existence through the lens of contemporary Judaism. His novels include Coming From Behind, Peeping Tom, No More Mister Nice Guy, The Mighty Walzer, and Whatever It Is, I Don't Like It, a collection of his weekly columns for The Independent. In his new novel, Zoo Time, a jaded novelist in search of new material takes an attraction to his alluring, angry mother-in-law to another level.
