Discover your connection to the coast at Pennsylvania Coast Day, now part of the WHYY Connections Festival. Not only can visitors board the RiverLink Ferry for a free tour, but also they can set off in a kayak or swan boat for free. And bring the kids. They will love the outdoor exhibits, free face painting and prizes located on the doorstep of the Independence Seaport Museum (special $5 admission rate). But why stop there? Take a free shuttle to the historic Fairmount Water Works Interpretive Center, a hidden gem of a museum right on the banks of the Schuylkill River. Log on to DelawareEstuary.org for details. Pennsylvania Coast Day is brought to you by the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary.
