SPECIAL EVENTS

Hootenanny Hoedown
September 29, 2012
The day will start with a 5K Trail Race for Conservation with optional obstacles. Runners will have the opportunity to run on privately owned land while experiencing bucolic views. The trail race will be followed by a Human Tractor Pull Competition where teams of up to six individuals will see who can pull a tractor the furthest in a designated amount of time, and a Children's Mutton Busting Competition which will see which child can stay on a sheep the longest. Return in the evening for the Hootenanny Hoedown Wild West Saloon complete with BBQ Style food, local brews and wine, live music, and table games. Come dressed as your favorite outlaw. Support conservation and land preservation in southern Chester County while enjoying great competition and food. More information, registration, and tickets can be found at www.tlcforscc.org and clicking on the Hootenanny Owl.
