    Annual Festival of Irish Music and Dance
    September 6-8, 2012
    Commodore John Barry Club in Philadelphia.

    Thursday Evening, September 6
    Singer’s Night
    Local and regional singers performing in the sean nos style
    (“old style” without accompaniment) and with accompaniment, in
    Irish and English

    Friday Evening, September 7
    Seán Tyrrell’s One Man Show, “Who Killed James Joyce”
    and a Ceili Dance featuring The McGillians.
    The Ceili is open to people of all ages and skill levels.

    Saturday, September 8
    All day and All night
    A full day with workshops for musicians, singers and in other areas
    of Irish Arts and culture such as dance, Irish language, genealogy and
    Irish crafts and many family oriented activities. Saturday night’s concert
    is the highlight of the Festival and this year will feature
    De Danann
    (with Alec Finn, Johnny McDonagh, Eleanor Shanley, Mick Conneely, Derek Hickey and Brian McGrath)
