On the heels of successful U.K. and Canadian tours, upstate New York's The Grand Slambovians (AKA Gandalf Murphy) return to touch base with fans in Pennsylvania at the rustic New Hope Winery. Playing art school roots rock, sometimes folk and quirky Americana, The Grand Slambovians charm from the first note. Dubbed "the hillbilly Pink Floyd" - an apt description, particularly if you throw in elements of Incredible String Band, Neil Young, The Band, Bob Dylan, and Syd Barrett. The band has been frequent headline favorites at Philadelphia Folk Festival, WXPN's Xponential Festival and World Cafe Live, and is once again bringing their melodic avant-folk and exotic instrumental arsenal to what is lead singer Longo's home turf. Get down for this one - you're in for a real treat. The New Hope Winery is housed in a rustic 18th century barn, located right between New Hope and Peddler's Village. Dinner available pre-show.
