This event offers the opportunity to learn skills for open-hearth cooking, using 18th century recipes, tools and practices in an original late 18th century kitchen. After cooking, the class members will sit down to enjoy a dinner in the lovely 19th century parlor of Craven Hall. Each participant is encouraged to invite a guest to join at the dinner time. The class are kept small so there is good opportunities to be involved in the various cooking processes and for individual attention. A reservation and pre-payment of $35 per class participant is needed at least 1 week prior to class date. Much interest has already been shown. Other classes can be scheduled upon request. Checks (made out to Craven Hall Historical Society) should be sent to Lin Schreiner, Craven Hall Historical Society, PO Box 2042, Waminster PA, 18974. Please include with the check the names & phone numbers of those who wish to participate.
