    Blobfest is a kitschy, family-friendly celebration of the movie The Blob which was filmed in and around Phoenixville in 1957.

    The annual event begins Friday, July 13. Doors open at 7 p.m. for the Friday Night Run Out. This wacky night that includes the Shorty Awards (recognizing the winners of the sixth annual amateur short film contest), a live stage show hosted by Dr. Frank N. Stone & Ghoul-A-Go-Go, and much more! The night culminates at with the crowd favorite --  the "Run Out" scene from the movie at approximately 9PM. The Run Out is SOLD OUT.

    Blobfest continues Saturday, July 14th, at noon with a StreetFair, Costume Contest, multiple showings of The Blob, plus two other horror classics (The Day the Earth Stood Still and Caltiki – The Immortal Monster), special guests including the "real" Blob and its caretaker, Wes Shank, and much more. Tickets for film screenings and access to special guests, displays and vendors must be purchased. Tickets for the film screenings are $10 adults /$8 seniors / $6 members and children < 13.

    The final day of Blobfest is Sunday, July 15. We will present one final screening of The Blob at 2PM.
