The Thompson Bucks County Classic is a two-day professional racing event that encompasses the Doylestown Arts Festival. Beginning at 10:30am on Saturday, the New Hope to Doylestown Road Race has been designed to give race fans an intimate and exciting view of endurance sport at its very best. 150 professional riders will participate in this inaugural Pennsylvania race, which will end in downtown Doylestown.
Sunday’s event kicks off with the Cyclosportif 100K at 8am. This recreational ride is open to all ages and levels of participants, and has riders heading north through beautiful Bucks County before looping back to the finish line in Doylestown.  The ever-popular children’s race is set to begin at 12:30pm. The kids get a lifetime thrill by sprinting up the same finish line as the professional men; medals and other goodies are awarded to all participants in this family-friendly event.
The Thompson Criterium of Doylestown rounds out the Thompson Bucks County Classic at 1pm, and is a must-see professional sporting event for committed racing fans or anyone curious to see cycling for the first time. The 35 high-speed laps surrounding the Doylestown Arts Festival always end with a tight and exciting finish. Add in house parties, music and great food and you have a recipe for the perfect family day!
