Come join the Philadelphia Theatre Company for a night at the movies. Enjoy classic movie theater candy and cool refreshments (for adults and kids) in the beautiful, intimate, and air conditioned Suzanne Roberts Theatre on the Avenue of the Arts.
Dreamgirls, based on the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, is about a trio of black female soul singers who go from just a group with talent to being a crossover hit on the pop charts in the early' 60s. The friendship of the three girls from Chicago is put to the test when they are faced with the pressure of money, fame and adulation. Features the Grammy-winning song "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going."
