    Opening Act: Band of Skulls

Acclaimed for its swirling sonic symphony and unique studio alchemy, Jane's Addiction has sold more than seven million records in the U.S. alone. It’s also garnered Grammy nominations and spearheaded the movement of modern American festival culture by launching and headlining Lollapalooza. In 1988, the group officially arrived as a pop culture force with its first studio album, Nothing's Shocking. The band created a sound that the world had never heard before. It was as riff heavy as it was sensitive and led to tracks such as the debut single “Jane Says,” as well as “Ted, Just Admit It…” and “Had a Dad.”

Jane’s Addiction’s second studio album, 1990's Ritual de lo Habitual, reached three-times platinum in the U.S and featured two No. 1 singles, “Stop!” and “Been Caught Stealing,” the latter of which was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance. In 2003 the group once again made its way to the top of the charts with Strays, its first new album in 13 years. After debuting at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, the album quickly reached gold status, and the first single “Just Because” became the band’s biggest single to date, landing at No. 1. The Great Escape Artist, released in fall 2011, is the group’s most recent studio recording.
