ChaCha N’Kole, Grind The Magazine and Eyeconic Women LLC have joined together to bring to you the most eclectic music and fashion fusion exhibition to ever hit Philadelphia, as part of the Black Music Month Week, BMMW, celebration. The event will be held at the Crane Arts Building.

Philly Phasion Rocks will feature the finest apparel and accessory designers, make-up artist, hairstylist and musicians in the Philadelphia area. There will be a total of eight teams which will consist of members from each of the above mentioned artistic backgrounds. Each group will have up to ten minutes to showcase their exhilaration fashion presentation. After two months of perfecting ideas, combining creativity and discovering boundless concepts, they will have the opportunity to show exactly why Philly Phasion Rocks.

On this night we will be honoring Philadelphia 76er Lou Williams for his outstanding contributions to charity. He will also be amongst the designers, presenting his clothing line Evol Rocx. There will also be a tribute to the late Vanessa “Banks” Watson, model, honoring her impact and influence on the fashion world.



Prior to show time we will have a silent auction composed of donated artwork from Philadelphia based up and coming designers. Donations include unique handmade clothing, professional photographs, paintings and jewelry. Proceeds raised will go to the charitable organization of the designer’s choice. There will also be an abundance of vendors for your shopping needs as well. Following the show will be a meet and greet with the featured artists. Get ready for a spectacular exhibition.
