Philly's own folk and blues guitar hero and singer-songwriter Andy Kimbel kicks off the 2012 Concerts in the Park Series with a special show not to be missed. If you like the music styles of Chris Smither, David Bromberg, Hot Tuna and Tom Rush then you will definitely enjoy Andy Kimbel's performance. He is one of the finest acoustic finger pickers and string benders. His ability to freely improvise and weave in and out of material that ranges from hard drivin' country blues to Celtic to his own folk ballads is simply remarkable.
