    Who:
    Students in grades 4-8
    Students interested in artistic and/or scientific learning.
    Students who may be struggling in traditional school, but exhibit creative potential.
    Students from low-income families. (target 85-90%)

    What:
    At Artology, art, science, and environment intersect to promote innovation, and prepare under-served urban students for a bright future in an emerging “green” economy. Hands-on dynamic learning is achieved by utilizing Philadelphia (its neighborhoods, parks, and museums) as an interactive classroom.

    Water Testing
    Sculpture
    Hiking
    Dissection
    Painting Poetry
    Experiments
    Drumming
    Journaling

    Artology ends with a student art show at the Philadelphia Museum of Art!

    What is included?
    Healthy Lunch and 2 snacks
    Each student receives: Backpack, journal/sketchbook, drawing materials, magnifying glass, water bottle, and t-shirt.
    3-4 Field trips per week
