    Jazz pianist and composer David Benoit brings his legendary talent to Monmouth County in An Evening with David Benoit at the Henderson Theatre in Lincroft. This opportunity to hear Benoit’s extensive collection in an intimate setting is part of The CBA Jazz Series, an annual event producing big-name artists in a more up close and personal arrangement.

    A five-time Grammy nominee, Benoit serves as music director of the Asia America Symphony Orchestra and in 2010 was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the American Smooth Jazz Awards in Michigan City, Indiana. Since launching his recording career in 1977, Benoit’s expansive career as a contemporary jazz pianist and composer has included over 25 solo recordings. His ’80s releases This Side Up, Freedom at Midnight and the Grammy-nominated Every Step of the Way are considered influential genre classics.
