Rock and roll legend Aerosmith will infuse “sweet emotion” into the Wells Fargo Center with a Saturday, July 21 performance of their “Global Warming Tour” featuring Cheap Trick as the opening act. Tickets will go on sale exclusively through ComcastTIX on Friday, March 30 at 10 a.m. online at ComcastTIX.com, by phone at 1-800-298-4200 or in person at the Wells Fargo Center Box Office.

After blowing away audiences in South America and Japan, the bad boys from Boston are back to rock America’s soul, with the “Global Warming Tour” playing 18 markets beginning on June 16. The July 21 concert at Wells Fargo Center will mark the first time Aerosmith has played Philadelphia since the band’s “Rockin’ The Joint Tour” stop on November 23, 2005.

The band celebrated their 40th anniversary in 2010 and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. This quintessential live act truly defined rock and roll as we know it, bringing their heart-pounding sound and millions of fans to their feet over the past four decades. Never succumbing to the trends and fads in music, Aerosmith blazes their own path and remains as ground-breaking as they were when they first formed in 1970.

American rock band and musical institution Cheap Trick will open the announced shows.
