Jazz on My Mind is about keeping jazz alive. Created in Los Angeles in 2008 as a way to educate music enthusiasts about jazz music and its culture, the program has since relocated to Wilmington, DE. Now recorded live at World Cafe Live at the Queen from 8-9 pm and followed by an open jam, host Richard Blackwell is proud to showcase performances from jazz greats including legends, and current and future jazz stars who play straight ahead, contemporary, Latin, fusion, smooth jazz and jazz poetry. The program also features jazz chats with radio personalities, advocates and jazz lovers of all kinds.
Sit back and relax, enjoy the show and communicate coast to coast with music enthusiasts, supporters and performers who also have jazz on their minds.
