Trail of the Lorax is a 3-dimensional interactive experience that shares the true story of a species in peril: the endangered orangutan. Brought to you in partnership with Dr. Seuss Enterprises L.P., this engaging exhibit tells a story of conservation and of saving wildlife. The Trail will engage guests of all ages in the true tale of the orangutan, who depends on trees just as the brown-bar-a loots and the humming fish depend on the truffula trees.

Grab your 3-D glasses and follow a trail of clues left by The Lorax himself. Learn amazing facts about the orangutan as you explore the action stations located around the Zoo. Test your grip strength and learn how the orangutan gathers its food, and learn about palm oil and how your choices can help orangutans in the wild. As you pass through First Niagara Big Cat Falls, watch a colorful mini-movie featuring characters from the movie Dr. Seuss’s The Lorax.

Your adventure culminates at the Lorax Loft, a fantastical play and learning environment featuring a thicket of “vines” on which children can swing and explore and a make-believe pond for fishing and the Lorax’s hammock, inspired by the real life bedding of orangutans in the wild.
