Bucks County Choral Society & Riverside Symphonia In Unique Performance at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel.  The Bucks County Choral Society, under the direction of Thomas Lloyd, combines forces with the Riverside Symphonia to present nineteenth century master Anton Bruckner’s Mass No. 1 in D minor, along with modern composer Tarik O’Regan’s Triptych. 
Bruckner’s Mass No. 1 is set to the standard church mass text, written in sections, and is a beautiful and creative, yet rarely-performed gem. The composer’s substantial harmonic skills are shown to the utmost throughout this expansive work. O’ Regan’s Triptych, written in 2004, is comprised of three movements, each utilizing contemplative texts from Blake, the Bible, Milton, Wordsworth, Hardy, and more. For this special performance, sections of the Mass will be alternated with movements from Triptych, to create a blended and complementary effect.
