    Refining Your Climbing Skills

    This course is designed to improve a climber's efficiency in moving through a tree focusing on systems useful in commercial work. Techniques will be demonstrated and practiced on all facets of tree climbing including initial crotching, advancing ropes, using a throw line, planning routes, double crotching, line redirects, and secured static foot-lock techniques. The instructor will critique participants, encouraging them to improve techniques and finesse. Bring your climbing gear including a hard hat with chin strap and a throw line. This course is geared to students who have some experience with tree climbing basics and are seeking to master their skills. This course carries 16.5 CEUs for ISA certified arborists.
