    For those of you who haven't noticed the new group, the Hit Men consist of three former Four Seasons: guitarist Don Ciccone (who was also in the Critters before the Seasons and Tommy James and the Shondells after the Seasons), keyboardist Lee Shapiro and drummer Gerry Polci. Although they get no mention in Jersey Boys, all we old hands know that these three are great musicians who played on two of the Seasons' biggest hits ("Who Loves You," December 1963) and toured with Frankie for many years during the Seasons' 1970s second life. Plus two other band mates: Jim Ryan, who played with such people as Carly Simon and Cat Stevens, and Larry Gates, who worked with Carole King and Desmond Child.
