Music and Rhythms Around the World
March 11, 2012
Mary Knysh’s Rhythms Around the World program shares the music and rhythms of our world community. Travel the world like Henry Tanner by experiencing the sounds and rhythms that have breathed life into music across many continents and experience the dazzling interplay of cultures as Mary plays instruments from her vast, multicultural collection. Young audiences are invited to actively participate in rhythms, songs and instrument play designed to build confidence in their own expressions. Join PAFA afterward for a Family Arts Academy art-making workshop on the same theme.
