Join Chemical Heritage Foundation for the opening celebration of their newest exhibition, Inspiring Youth in Chemistry, a retrospective of the International Year of Chemistry. The year-long celebration was designed to increase public appreciation of chemistry’s role in meeting global needs and to generate enthusiasm for the creative future of chemistry.

This new exhibition celebrates three programs that encouraged youth to become more engaged with their chemical world: the Global Chemistry Experiment, a set of four basic chemistry experiments conducted by students all around the globe; Our Children on Water, an exhibition of paintings by children in Africa and Europe centered around the theme, “Water: Refreshment or Responsibility;” and It’s Elemental, a periodic table full of videos created by U.S. high school students.

Come meet the curatorial staff who created this exhibition and take part in the IYC Global Chemistry Experiment, which continues through the end of March.
