World Arts Celebrations: Bali Arts Festival - Summer Arts Camp (Ages 8-12)

Each summer, the people of Bali come together to showcase the island's rich artistic heritage in a major arts festival. Take part this year by learning some of Bali's classical dances, exploring ancient Balinese stories through acting and dance, creating Indonesian handcrafts and playing the island's gamelan music.
The arts are used in community celebrations in every culture around the world. Tap into the festive spirit of these artistic events at Darlington Arts Center's 2012 Cultural Summer Arts Camp. Each camp will explore music, visual art, dance and drama from different cultures, as presented in arts festivals world-wide. Students will gain the benefit of learning about diverse cultures and art forms while staying close to home under the direction of professional teaching artists.
Camp size limited. Pre-registration is required. Before- and after-care available.
