    Singer Karen Rodriguez and her Latin Jazz Ensemble will be appearing at Jazz in Media! Ms. Rodriguez is the real deal. Others may attempt to convey a Latin sound by singing a bossa nova or a samba once in awhile, but Latin music is in Rodriguez's DNA. Seeing and hearing Karen perform live is like walking into a Cuban nightclub circa 1950, but her Latin sound would not be complete without her marvelous band: percussionist Mariano Medina, pianist Suzzette Ortiz, and bassist Juan Medina. Don't miss this evening of exceptional music by exceptional artists!
