This 4-week course is a continuation of previous Screenwriting I courses offered by PFS. Writers will continue to write their scripts while learning and applying advanced story-telling techniques into their screenplays. The class is structured into one-third lecture / discussion and two-thirds round-table reads with each writer expected to bring in their work for critique and observation by their peers. Students also have the option to adapt a short story of their choice based on a selection of short stories handed out by the instructor.

About the Instructor: Nanci Gaglio is a recent transplant from San Francisco where she taught screenwriting at UC Berkeley and wrote, directed, and sometimes appeared in her own fiction films that have screened in nearly 100 film festivals around the world. She's developed projects for BBC and served on several development teams for A-list studio directors and producers. Nanci received her MFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in Dramatic Writing.
