Philadelphia dancer-choreographer Lindsay Browning possibly discovered “Lincoln Luck” when she was just a child. Her father, who is an actor, was preparing to create the image of late president Abraham Lincoln in the den of their home. Lindsay was 7 years old and witnessed her father recreate Lincoln right in front of her. Twenty-one years later, she has created a performance work with his image of “Lincoln Luck” in mind. The new work pulls from the past, acknowledges the uncertainty of the present, and imagines the future with a stunning line-up of performers including David Browning, John Luna, Myra Bazell, and Tommy Cario.
