Along with her sisters, Maggie and Terre, Suzzy Roche is a founding member of the beloved singing group The Roches, whose debut recording was named Album of the Year by the New York Times in 1979. Their music combines tight harmonies with touching, insightful, and quirky lyrics. After more than 30 years on tour and 11 albums with her sisters, Suzzy recorded two solo albums, Holy Smokes and Songs from an Unmarried Housewife and Mother, Greenwich Village, USA. She is also the creator of Zero Church, a collection of non-denominational prayers set to music. Her debut novel Wayward Saints is a fable about fame, guilt, a mother’s love, and the music business.

    In conversation with David Dye.
