This Grammy-nominated group takes audiences on a joy ride from the traditions of mother Africa to the electrifying jazz-folk-rock fusions of today. South Africa’s pulsating rhythms, rich harmonies, guitar-driven maskanda and mbaqanga melodies, and spine-tingling Zulu dance fuse with funky basslines, intricate drum patterns, Afro-jazz horn lines, and compelling lyrics to take you from ancient traditions to today’s unstoppable beat. This versatile group of musicians, singers, dancers and workshop leaders thrills crowds of all ages and sizes.

This program is presented as one of Longwood's OrKID Days. Stop by to share your dream for peace and beauty in our world. Create a picture or message to hang up in the trees of the Indoor Children’s Garden.
