The first complete presentation of Il Trittico at the Royal Opera since 1965, this dark, caustically humorous trio of one-act operas spans a range of ominous settings and troubled characters. Antonio Pappano, the youngest conductor to ever lead the Royal Opera House orchestra, joins forces with award-winning director Richard Jones, who previously staged one of the operas that now completes the trio.
Broadcast in HD on the big screen at Bryn Mawr Film Institute, this production of Il Trittico stars Lucio Gallo, Eva-Maria Westbroek, Ermonela Jaho, Anna Larsson and Ekaterina Siurinais.
