Jean Plough - East of the Sun
December 9, 2011-January 8, 2012
East of the Sun: abstract impressionism oil and acrylic paintings by Jean Plough. Land and space inform Jean's work, and her paintings often refer to states of mind. Jean practices meditation, and is interested in the center it creates, the boundaries between forms, and what happens in and around them. The title East of the Sun refers to a mythical place where relationships are resolved, and people are freed.
