    Singer/Songwriter Mary Scholz is in her fifth year of touring the US, promoting her heartfelt melodies and lyrics. Singing since the age of four and writing since about fourteen, her music is a blend of lyric folk, pop and rock with a bittersweet twist that puts her in a category all her own. (But aren’t we all in categories of our own?) Growing up singing in church, Mary’s voice resonates with a clarity and emotion that engages her audience at the first note. Having completed her training with a BFA from the University of the Arts in 2006, Mary is spending her time playing gigs all over the country. In addition, in 2008 Mary kick-started her own independent record label, Ringlet Records, and on December 10, 2010, she released her third EP, “Water Rising.”
