Ice Cream Wars 4.0 at Da Vinci Science Center

Ice Cream Wars is the Da Vinci Science Center’s popular wintry celebration of liquid nitrogen ice cream. Teams mix creative ice cream flavors before adding liquid nitrogen as a freezing agent. Visitors taste the flavors and choose their favorite flavor. Every Ice Cream Wars 4.0 team will represent a Lehigh Valley company and include a captain from the Da Vinci Science Center. While liquid nitrogen stands at negative 320 degrees Fahrenheit, it evaporates quickly when mixed with the ice cream ingredients. The smooth, creamy ice cream is safe to eat in approximately five minutes. Ice Cream Wars 4.0 also will feature team prizes for spirit, enthusiasm, creativity, and other fun attributes. These prizes will be awarded by a panel of dignitaries and Da Vinci Science Center members.
