Critically acclaimed and Grammy®-nominated saxophonist Ravi Coltrane is one of today’s most unique and original voices whose sound has been described as “amazing, deep, soulful, masterful” (Jazz Police) and is complete with “elusive beauty” (Downbeat Magazine). The second son of the legendary saxophonist John Coltrane and pianist Alice Coltrane, Ravi Coltrane has performed with many of the world’s greatest jazz and pop luminaries including McCoy Tyner, Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Branford Marsalis, Elvin Jones and Carlos Santana. In this not-to-be-missed musical treat, he’s joined by three fixtures on today’s jazz scene—bassist/composer Drew Gress, drum sensation E.J. Strickland and pianist/composer/arranger Luis Perdomo.
