The Printmaking Department at PAFA offers holiday shoppers a unique opportunity with its Annual Holiday Student Print Sale, scheduled in December. The sale, held in the print shop located on the sixth floor of PAFA’s Samuel M.V. Hamilton Building, features cards, etchings, lithographs, stamp prints, and woodcuts by students as well as demonstrations on different printmaking techniques by faculty. All prints are priced under $100, and there is no cost for admission. In addition to serving as a venue for affordable, artistic holiday gifts, the Annual Holiday Student Print Sale serves as an opportunity for the public to meet PAFA students and discuss their work as a prelude to the Academy’s venerable Annual Student Exhibition in May.
