NRBQ
January 22, 2012
Founded in 1967, NRBQ is known for their live performances containing a rollicking blend of spontaneity and levity. Their songs inspired many covers by the likes of Bonnie Raitt, The Fabulous T-birds, Widespread Panic, Los Lobos, She & Him (“Ridin' In My Car”) and Dave Edmunds (“Me and the Boys”) with whom they toured. NRQB also served as the unofficial house band for The Simpsons with their songs used in the show plus made appearances. Terry Adams is still the untamed genius of the keyboards since their inception over four decades ago and fan faves include "Get That Gasoline Blues" and "Captain Lou Albano” and they recently released “Keep This Love Goin.’”
