Larry Doyle, a former writer for the television series Beavis and Butt-head and The Simpsons, presents an anthology of short humor writing. In Deliriously Happy: And Other Bad Thoughts Doyle covers it all—childhood to evil genius, pets to parenthood—through satirical essays and comedic observation.

Doyle's debut novel, I Love You, Beth Cooper, was made into a major motion picture and won the 2008 Thurber Prize for American Humor.
