The UPenn-LRSM Science cafes are a monthly series of talks for the general public in a convivial setting in which Penn faculty and others from academia and industry will discuss scientific topics in layman's terms around the general theme of materials science. The next talk will be by Bill 'Bunsen' Berner, Physics Dept., University of Pennsylvania, on 'Why is a cloud like a volcano?' and will include interesting demonstrations.

Pre-registration is not required. For further info contact outreach@lrsm.upenn.edu.
