Christopher Paolini, a precocious, homeschooled teenager from Montana, made headline news in 2003 with his debut fantasy novel Eragon, which quickly topped the New York Times Best Sellers List and was later adapted into a feature film. Two additional bestselling books—Eldest and Brisingr—soon followed in Paolini’s Inheritance Cycle. In all, his epic tales have been translated into more than 30 languages and sold more than 20 million copies worldwide. Inheritance is the much-anticipated fourth and final book in the Cycle.
