Penn Museum, at the University of Pennsylvania, thanks the men and women of the United States military, whose honor and sacrifices continue to bring safety, security and pride to our nation. In recognition of Veterans Day, Penn Museum is offering half-price general admission to all active U.S. military personnel and veterans from November 1-11.

Penn Museum is dedicated to the study and understanding of human history and diversity. Founded in 1887, Penn Museum has conducted more than 400 archaeological and anthropological expeditions around the world. Three gallery floors feature materials from ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, Mesoamerica, Asia and the ancient Mediterranean World, as well as artifacts from native peoples of the Americas and Africa. The Museum offers a glass-enclosed Museum Café overlooking the inner gardens, and gifts and memorabilia in the Museum Shop and the Pyramid Shop for children. With an active exhibition schedule, a membership program, and educational programming for children and adults, Penn Museum offers the public an opportunity to share in the ongoing discovery of humankind’s collective heritage.
