Morris Arboretum will host Bloomfield Farm Day, an afternoon dedicated to 19th century agriculture and the games, music and good times of that era. Visitors will have the chance to tour the Springfield Mill and learn about production methods of that time.

An educational and entertaining demonstration of wool production, complete with grazing sheep, will highlight 19th century agriculture. Members of the Philadelphia Guild of Handweavers will demonstrate spinning and carding, and an exhibit of natural dyes made from plants will introduce the production process. Also on site will be an herbalist who distills plants for their medicinal value.
