Passion and betrayal drive this emotional and erotic love triangle, set in Poland circa 1968. Following the Six Day War, the Polish Communist government has unleashed an aggressive anti-Semitic campaign, putting intellectual and artistic circles on edge. Kamila (Magdalena Boczarska), a beautiful but naïve young woman, is recruited by her lover, security policeman Rozek (Robert Wieckiewicz), to seduce and spy on Warczewski (Poland’s legendary Andrzej Seweryn), a well known writer and suspected Zionist. More determined to please her domineering boyfriend than serve Communism, Kamila agrees to the mission, pledging her loyalties under the code name “Little Rose.” One of the most memorable Polish exports in recent years, this award-winning, provocative thriller asks us to contemplate how far we’d go for love.
