    At five community locations, local amateur astronomers set up telescopes for neighborhood observing. Two local university observatories also open their doors for observing and additional astronomy programming.

    •University of the Sciences – Main Quad, 43rd and Woodland Ave., West Phila.
    •Fairhill Burial Ground - 2900 Germantown Ave., North Philadelphia
    •Falomi Campground – 1717 Croskey St., near 23rd and Cecil B. Moore Ave., North Philadelphia
    •Lynch Observatory, Drexel University, 3141 Chestnut St., University City
    •Rittenhouse Labs Observatory, University of Pennsylvania, 209 S. 33rd St., University City
