    Whether new to painting or finally making time to get back in the studio, this course will challenge, inspire, and support you in your creative growth! Thoughtful instruction will begin with representational still life painting and then evolve into abstraction as you begin to see the world in shapes and colors and gain confidence with expressing your ideas through paint. Through guided projects, students will learn various methods for creating abstraction from observation. Color, shape, perspective, memory, and mark making will be explored. Imagination and freedom will be combined with structure, giving you grounded and supportive means to for exploring your creative process! All materials are included!
