A kindly old man (Edmund Gwenn) claims to be the real Santa Claus and lands himself in a whole heap of trouble in this holiday favorite. When the could-be St. Nick faces institutionalization, a young lawyer comes to his aid and convinces a skeptical courtroom that sometimes you have to believe. Maureen O’Hara and Natalie Wood star in this delightful ode to the Christmas season.
