It’s 1940 in small town Indiana and all nine-year-old Ralphie Parker wants for Christmas is an Official Red Ryder Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle (with a compass in the stock and a thing that tells time). Unfortunately, his gift idea is met with a chorus of “You’ll shoot your eye out!” from his parents, teacher, and even Santa! Find out if little Ralphie’s Christmas dreams come true in this beloved classic based on the semi-fictional anecdotes of author Jean Shepherd (who also narrated the film!).
