    Kermit the Frog dreams of a life in glamorous Hollywood. As he journeys from his sunny Florida swamp to Los Angeles, he’s joined by various new friends—including beauty pageant contestant Miss Piggy—and is also pursued by the villainous Doc Hopper (Charles Durning), who wants Kermit to be the spokesperson for his French-fried frog legs restaurant. In their first feature film outing, the Muppets are joined by Mel Brooks, Elliot Gould, Bob Hope, Orson Welles, Steve Martin, and more.
