    Nominated for a 2010 Philly Beer Scene award, Beer Barons to Homebrewers: Tour The Past. Taste The Present. is back! This year’s event will include a tour of burial sites of brewers interred at Laurel Hill Cemetery and will continue with a tour, tasting and reception at West Laurel Hill Cemetery. Both tours will be led by Pennsylvania brewery historian Rich Wagner. Reservations are required and space is limited. Registration begins at 1 pm at Laurel Hill Cemetery.

    Are you a homebrewer? Enter you pre-prohibition style homebrew in the contest. Both bottled entries and sixtel entries are welcome. Brewers submitting a sixtel receive free entry for themselves and two guests. Bottled entries are $7 per entry and must be received by Thursday, October 13th. Looking for sponsorship opportunities? A portion of the proceeds from the event benefit St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church in Roxborough. To assist in off-setting the cost of the event, a variety of sponsorship opportunities are available.
