“[The] authenticity of somebody telling their own story was what people were interested in.” —Jackson Browne

Step inside the famous Los Angeles folk club the Troubadour, responsible for launching the careers of some of the most important figures in the 1970s singer-songwriter scene. Hear Carole King, James Taylor, Elton John, Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt and David Crosby reminisce about the golden age of folk rock and sing some of its most memorable songs. Vintage video clips and photos from the artists’ personal albums transport you back in time to this incomparable moment in the history of popular music.
