    Discover the “human history” of Philadelphia when Christ Church’s experts lead you through their rarely seen underground archives. Tour 300 linear feet of historical records dating back to 1695 and catch an extraordinary glimpse into the legacy of our city.

    Founded in 1695 and referred to as the “Mother Church,” Christ Church was instrumental in organizing an Episcopal Church in America after the Revolution from the Church of England. Now home to a thriving parish, Christ Church continues to be a leader in the community and an advocate for the arts.
